Hard Returns in description has JSON Error

I am on the latest WP-Invoice.
This happens with both the Unified Invoicing template as well as Overwrite Page Content.
Pressing “Enter” (Hard Returns) within the description of any Line Items will result in JQuery Unexpected token.
This will prevent customers from being able to make a payment.

I have temporarily removed hard returns from all of my current invoicing Line Item descriptions.
