Update-core.php Showing page not found when on server

A site I’m working on was hacked. Replacing the wordpress files solved everything except for one bug that is still persisting. When I view “mydomain.com/wp/wp-admin/update-core.php” I get the page not found screen instead of the admin updates screen. I have already tried uploading a fresh install of the wordpress files. This fixed the admin not showing but just the updates and plugins screens are still not showing. What else can i do to try fix this?

I’ve tried disabling and removing plugins too.

Permissions on that file same as others, 0644.
