I can’t see the facebook article, so not 100% sure what you’re referring to.
It sounds like something specific your theme is doing though, as pages don’t have a “subheading” by default.
Hi Caleb,
Thanks for responding to my question.
If you go see this test site, you can see it happeing±
https://logologics.nl/bbq/shop/
Immediately under the title ( PRODUCTEN )
there is a line there now shown by default, saying ” here you can add new products in your store ” which clearly is a message to the shop manager and not for visitors/clients.
At first I thought it was maybe theme related, but the developer ( and other themes developers ) say it is hard coded in Woocommerce. Last one does makes sense because why would a theme add a message about woocommerce products right?
That only starts appearing as soon as a theme has the Woocommerce plugin activated, and the user of that theme wants to shows page titles.

Hi Caleb,
Here is a screenshot to show that unwanted message for admin to customers:
https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3180666/ea694ad13d5c0ab5437ff921baaf2c32
Seems to be hardcoded in Woocommerce not the themes?
Hope you can help fix this?
Thanks,
Annie

@logologics,
This is what the shop page on my test site looks like with the Storefront theme – http://cld.wthms.co/LeDx7t.
It looks like you may have created a custom shop page there, so if the issue isn’t with your theme, you’ll want to look at the template for that page. If you’re using some sort of page builder plugin, you might want to check the settings for that as well.
Hello Luninus,
Thanks for your time.
Correct, I now installed storefront to test and that message is gone…
Theme developer says it does not come from his theme and I found other themes and there developers saying the same thing: its hard coded into Woocommerce.
But if that were true, I should indeed see it in every theme/woocommerce and that is not the case.
It is not a custom shop page, its the shop page created by Woocommerce install.
The theme does have more options in it for woocommerce.
I suppose I will go back to theme developer to see if he can find the culprit here.
Have a great day,
Annie
@logologics,
You’re welcome. Hopefully, the theme developer can help you get that sorted.
Take care and have an amazing day.
