Unfortunately, the third-party library that I used to validate field contents does not recognize this danish character as valid inside of URLs. I have posted an issue on the library’s github site (https://github.com/victorjonsson/jQuery-Form-Validator/issues/674). If you have a github account, you might want to go there and add your comment to this issue, perhaps also listing any other characters that are not accepted.

You can create links with this special characters from the admin part of the site. It is only visitors that cannot use the special character to submit new links.
