• Hi,

We’re having an issue every time WordPress or iThemes security auto-updates (not sure which is the root at this time), it’s function that appends the .htaccess file is producing a site wide error that disables all pages and functions. A huge problem since it always happens unexpectedly and we scramble to remove the iThemes contributions to the .htaccess via FTP to get the site back. Then we sit without protection waiting for it to auto update in hopes that it doesn’t repeat the problem.

Seems like other people have had this issue and from my reading Ithemes came out with an update that fixed the issue however we continue to encounter the same problem.

Can you please help us diagnose and resolve?

    Thanks for your help.

Following up on this. Need to get some solutions in place before the next auto-update to WordPress. Thanks.

Following up again. Pretty disappointing to see other support posts that have been up for a day or two get responses but receive silence on my request from over 10 days ago. Can you please help with this issue?

    Thanks.

Same Issue here. Every time .htaccess gets updated by IThemes Security due to a brute force attempt it now gets bugged. I have to delete it, deactivate the plugin reactivate the plugin to generate a correct new one.
