Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.”
contact godaddy – they will need to add or fix the mysql extension
edit – I’ll warn you that the ad insertion on the free accounts will mess with your blog.

We can certainly take a look. I just need your domain and we will get in touch.
I’d guess you need to switch to a Linux hosting account at Godaddy?
There used to be some ‘premium’ Windows hosting accounts that allowed WordPress to work at Godaddy, but not too sure that’s the case any longer.

GDHosting:
The domain is cindykomang.com.
I’ve made a subdomain(I think) to place the wordpress in cindykomang.com/blog
Thank you all for the info. I am a starter in website making, so there are much to learn.
Just as MichaelH suspected, you’ll need to switch from Windows IIS 6 over to a Linux account. You can do so by using this help article: http://help.godaddy.com/article/1285
@ GDHosting
how did you notice this thread? was it by the godaddy tag I added? or just perusing?

Problem solved! First, I changed to to Linux but it still gave me an error message about establishing the database connection:
• Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
• Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
• Are you sure that the database server is running?
Then I figured out the host name that is listed on WordPress’ “Editing wp-config.php” doesn’t match with the on that shows on GD hosting control panel.
Once I changed that, the wordpress is working!
Thank you for all your help!
@ samboll
Just perusing.
