  • If you’re not on 2.7, there is no automatic upgrade yet.
When you visit your blog and view the source, you can see what version you’re on. Alternatelly, you can look into the wp-version file (I believe it’s called that way) in the WP pack on your PC.

It says you are on 2.6.5. If that is true and you want to auto upgrade, you can install the old auto-upgrade plugin
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade/

Keep in mind, once you upgrade to 2.7.1 you must deactivate the plugin, because auto-upgrade is built into 2.7.1 and the old plugin is causing problems for people when both it and the built in upgrade are active. The old plugin WILL get you to 2.7.1 automatically if you install it.

thanks but how can i know if my blogs theme will work on the new version?

Its very unlikely an upgrade from 2.6.5 will break your theme. However, the auto upgrade plugin includes backups of both your database and the files, which you should download to your computer. So in the event the upgrade breaks your theme, you can revert back to 2.6.5 as it is now.

Keep in mind that the built in auto upgrade that starts with 2.7 does not include a backup before the upgrade. There is another backup plugin you can install in 2.7 once you have upgraded
