Liked the old version much better. I loved the ability to see all the failed login details. I was able to block the ip manually. Now I don’t even see that in the dashboard anymore 🙁

  • Hi @hellzbellz,

On the Live Traffic page, in the Live Traffic Options, there’s an option to “Always display expanded Live Traffic records“; you can then add a filter to only show failed logins.

Would that be what you’re looking for?

I have to agree. This update is horrible. Had Wordfence for 5+ years, I will be removing. Too busy – just way to much, all over the place. Please bring back the old version and we’ll be happy to keep, but this as of now is useless to us.

    Hi @trish8981,

We understand that getting used to the new UI can be challenging and temporarily have an impact on usability especially for long time users like you.

Please feel free to send your remarks to the dedicated email address feedback[at]wordfence[dot]com so we can take them into consideration in order to implement modifications in future releases.

In case you’re having trouble finding a specific feature/option you can check our brand new documentation platform; as always you can also create a topic in this forum and we’ll be happy to assist you.

    Thank you.

    No thanks.

I agree with other users who aren’t liking changes in 7. I’m trying to block an IP address. It used to be easy. I can’t find how to do it and checked the new docs. No mention of it. Others have posted on this in the support forum, no answers.

7 is a big step backwards.

    Hi Matt (@aestheticdesign),

I’m sorry you’re having trouble getting used to the new UI and we would be grateful if you could send in your remarks and suggestions (to feedback[at]wordfence[dot]com) so we can get a better idea of the improvements we need to implement.

It is, of course, still possible to block a specific IP address; to do so:

    • Go to the “Wordfence –> Firewall” page
    • Click the “Blocking” tab
    • Select the “IP address” Block Type

Note that you can choose to display a top level Blocking menu option by enabling the feature located under:
Wordfence –> Firewall –> Blocking –> Blocking Options
