Hi, we found the solution. The problem was caused by the google analytics code, which we added to the pages of the website. We went into google analytics account, regenerated the script for the website, replaced the old one and everything went back in place.
I hope this can help other people having the same issue.
I noticed this issue start recently when I upgraded to the latest Stripe plugin.
I’m using:
WooCommerce Stripe Gateway 4.0.7
WooCommerce 3.3.4
All up to date. Does the latest Stripe plugin have this issue? I’ve removed all Google Analytics as described above and still having the issue.
Thanks.
I’m going to open a new ticket for this issue, we also get the problem when updating to version 4.1.3 — 4.1.2 is working without the issue. I think it has something to do with this update
– Hook to change Stripe supported countries wc_stripe_supported_countries.
Because we noticed only people in the USA where our site/company is located have the issue. people outside of the country can enter their CC number no issue.
Was this ever resolved? I’m having the problem right now – July 2018 – is there a fix or update. This is urgent – my client needs to launch this today!
Me too, very frustrating!
still having this issue as well…any word on solutions?
I was on live chat support with the Woocommerce team for an hour and they couldnt figure it out.
They suggested I organise SSL (https) then uninstall and reinstall everything, which Im in the process of doing.
Its pretty lame really that this hasnt been resolved.
especially since it is a common problem….let me know how you go please
Ok I have solved this problem.
I installed a clean version of WP, Woo and the stripe Payment Gateway. I also organised an SSL certificate so now my site uses HTTPS and it works.
I know this probably doesnt help much, but thats what I did.
Started over, started clean. No other customisations or plugins etc.
Im using Woo Storefront theme.
