Saving Plugin Options in a Checkbox

    I have programmed a wordpress plugin where there is an option to give the author (me) credit by a linkback. This is done using a checkbox. All the text field options will save but the checkbox always resets to unchecked, despite saying options saved.

    Please could you direct me in this matter.
