Hi,
It is possible that there is an issue with your site’s scheduler.
Please could you install the free WP Crontrol plugin?
Then, go to Tools->Cron Events. Are there any errors or warnings shown on that page?
I doubt it’s the scheduler, because updraft plus is able to back up on schedule. I’ll check though.
Just installed the plugin. No warnings or errors listed, but I also can’t see any cron jobs scheduled for the optimiser.
Still having the same problem
Hi,
Apologies for the delay, it appears that the forums buried the thread.
Please could you check for the following scheduled event in the Cron Events page:
wpo_cron_event
(There may be a digit at the end of the name. Is this event present?
No, I’m not seeing any event with that name.
Hi @rinellegrey,
Apologies for the delay.
Please could you disable the scheduled clean up, save your settings, then re-enable the scheuled clean-up and save again?
Does the event appear in the list after doing so?
Hi,
We have just released a new version of the plugin. Please could you update and save the scheduled settings again?
Just updated and saved again, and still nothing there. I do have several events listed such as wpo_daily and wpo_weekly, but nothing saying wpo_cron_event.
Hi,
Apologies, it appears that my last reply did not register correctly.
It appears that you may be looking at te wrong page. Please could you ensure that you are checking the Tools->Cron Events page, not the Cron Schedule page in Settings?
