Is it possible to use the default content editor with the formating and have it appear on the event?
Is it also possible to have other fields with the a wysiwyg editor?
For example I need a field to offer the bio info for several different presenters for the event.
The user wants to be able to add formatting to these fields. Bolding, links, etc.

Is it possible to add custom fields that make use of the editor?

    Thank you for your time.

it’s not possible at the moment however maybe you can try to search for other wp plugins which can do this.

Hi Thank you for the response. Are you suggesting a wysiwg editor plugin?
Do you recommend one that will work?
    Thank you!

Could clarify whether you’re looking to do this with the admin interface or with the front-end submission form?

    Admin interface.
I want to be able to add an editor screen where I can add formatting.
    Is it possible?

just to confirm, did you mean formatting when creating events, in the event details? if yes, it’s possible you can use other wp plugins which supports custom post types

Are you suggesting I use custom post types instead of events manager?

The website owner, wants to be able to have larger fields for specific content, like the bio for the speaker at the event. They do not want to use the main edit screen, They want to have a field specific for the biography of the speaker. But they want a larger field with the ability to add formatting. Right now they have a custom field via event manager, but it’s a simple little text field. They want that field to be an editor.

Did you mean custom fields? or custom post types?

    thank you
