Silver Essence theme posted image problems

I am pretty new to wordpress and I have set up a blog with the Silver Essence theme. When I post images to the blog, the previous entry appears to the right of the image (see here)

“Welcome” appears to the right of the image, I thought it should appear below the image. Is this an issue with the theme? or is there a problem with something else?
