Menu not saving

    On my site , on the challenges pages. I save the menu in the admin, but the changes dont save, on the front end and the back end. What could cause this?

    Hello @go-systems

    It seems you have WP super cache installed. Please try to clear cache and try again.
    If further help require then please post your query on WP Super cache support page.

    Hi Firoz,

    Thanks for the reply. I have disabled the SuperCache. It still shows the same. its not even accepting the page being added to the menu on the menu admin page.

    I add it to the menu, and save the menu. When loads the menu in the admin, it is not there anymore.

    Have you tried switching to another theme to rule out a theme issue?

    Thanks Jan,

    Would the theme issue cause it not now even show the changes in the admin? In the nav-menus.php page of the admin, i choose the page to add, click add to menu. it shows on the right, then i click the Save Menu at the bottom, it reloads the menu, but the changes arent there.

    Which makes me think something isn’t right. 😉

    Would the theme issue cause it not now even show the changes in the admin?

    Something is interfering with that menu. It could be a theme issue, it could be a plugin issue, or a problem with your host.

    Trying with another theme is just part of that basic troubleshooting. Try that and see if a menu can be saved after that theme switch.
