How to add NESTED Links on wordpress Menu?

I am from blogger and just creating new self-hosted wordpress.
In blogger, it is easy because I just need to update single template file and paste the necessary code into it. In wordpress, I don’t know which .php files I should modify? Also, different themes has different set of .php files. Quite confusing indeed.
I am trying to create Menu that consists of NESTED Links ( eg: Home, Engineering Books, Computer Books, etc ). The desired link sample can be found on: http://kutenk2000.blogspot.com
When I try to create on my WordPress (http://www.kutenk.com), the menu just shows a PAGE, it is not a link. And it is not nested.
How can I create NESTED link on Menu? Which .PHP files and which line should I edit?
