Knickers have firmly got in a twist here …
jarethouse.co.uk is the live site. All appears to be working well except for the actual blog page … Jaret News.

I’ve trawled the template pages of the codex and scoured these support pages with no solution found.

I am trying to set up a page in Jaret News that I can post updates to with the rest of the site staying pretty much the same. I have set up templates for my static pages which work as I wish them to.

However what template do posts use? Nothing I do seems to make a blind bit of difference. I get the following strange look . I have tried to edit index.php, single, archive set up a separate posts.php page. All to no avail.

I think I’ve gone to far inside this and can’t see the wood for the proverbials … Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Pete

  • Index.php handles all posts, single.php handles when showing a full single post, and archive handles category level navigation between posts etc….

Or at least that’s my understanding thus far (still pretty new to WP myself)…

You’ll proberly need to use Post Categories…
