@71rider – you mean you want to change the colour of your header using the customizer, or just in your child theme?
Also, a URL to your site would help.
it’s not important if customizer or child-theme…there are a difference?
Because i’ve just begin and i have to learn a lot
I have to change colour!:))
I tried with customizer, but not change.
URL is
paolodebo.altervista.org
If you can help me…thanks a lot:)

Hi @71rider,
With a default install of the Storefront theme, the header background can be changed from this setting below within the WordPress Customizer.

Cross testing on my installs this functionality of Storefront is working correctly for both the header and footer background colours.
If these settings are not working for you something on your site will be preventing this from operating as they should, it could be some custom CSS you have added, a child theme or a plugin you have activated causing a conflict or overriding the colour changes.
Hi,
I solved. The problem was in the installation of wordpress done automatically by altervista, in fact I created a new account altervista and I redid the same things as before and now it works correctly.
thank you very much and sorry, but I’m learning now :))
Bye
