oversized image in List view

Hi Events Calendar team,
I’ve been trying out events calendar and events tickets plus for a while now.
However, I keep having trouble with the list view for events. The layout is not presented as expected, with the main problem that the event-image is blown up to the full table-width.

What I expect is to see the list view like these examples:

I am using the Avada theme, but I can’t figure out if this is avada or events calendar issue.
I selected the ‘Tribe Events Styles’, but ‘full styles’ gives similar results.

I have already tried to override CSS in Avada, but none of my custom css on events-related classes have effect (neither with !important. other customs css works perfectly). I also tried the themer’s guide, but even with this guidance I did not succes in changing styles.
I’ve turned off caching in WP-addons and emptied cache in browser. the issue occurs in all browsers.

I hope you can point me in the right direction here, as apart from this, Events Calendar has given me the best experience so far among all events-managers out there!
