Screenshots are not there. Would you please check?
Can you post the url of webpage here from where you have taken the screenshots mentioned above?
We need the url of EXACT webpage where you shared the content and took the screenshots you have posted above. If you share on Facebook and Pinterest the page http://seattle.by/wordpress/en/, you will not get the content shown in the screenshots.
Yes, sorry, I sent you URL of the same page, but in English. These screenshots are for http://seattle.by/wordpress/
These pages both have problems that I described.
The image appearing in Facebook share dialogue is the same image http://seattle.by/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/home_fb.png appearing in the og:image Open Graph Meta Tag in the HTML source of the webpage.
Pinterest share is also working fine. See following screenshot https://imgur.com/a/V3N3u
I think I understand why it works so. I am uploading image with 1024х512 size, but Facebook recommend to use 1200×630 pixels image, so he crop my image.
Yes. Facebook crops the image.
I tasted Pinterest sharing on another computer, yes it works fine, but I really don’t like that it works wrong on my computer) And I don’t understand why.
We are not sure about this.
Also while sharing to Facebook from http://seattle.by/wordpress/en/
there are no title and description in sharing dialog
If you debug the English language pages of your website using Facebook debugger tool https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/, you will see that it’s not able to scrape meta tags information. You would like to check if any .htaccess rule is blocking that to crawl your webpages.
It is really important for me sharing to social networks work well. So I am still trying to find a solution to solve problems I have.
And not unsuccessfully. I assumed that WPML cause these problems as it doesn’t work well with Yoast, so I spend a lot of time to set WordPress multisite mode and to achieve the result that I already had. Problem with Pinterest has gone. Facebook sharing works well on http://seattle.by/wordpress, but on http://en.seattle.by/wordpress it still works oddly.
If you debug the url http://en.seattle.by/wordpress in Facebook debugger, you will see that it’s not pulling content from webpage properly. Not related to our plugin.
I didn’t do anything, except writing to Facebook community about this error. Now All works fine)
