Wrong Title Showing for CPT from ACF

I’m having issues with Yoast SEO causing the wrong <title> to be displayed for a CPT from ACF. The title for all CPT “listings” pages is showing the latest blog post title. All other titles on the website are showing correctly.

the_title() is returning the correct title for the CPT when used inside the content error.

Deactivating Yoast SEO returns the <title> correctly.

I’ve tried “Force Rewrites” but that didn’t change anything.

Why might the be happening and how can I fix it? Ideally I’d like to use Yoast SEO on the site. Is it possible to prevent Yoast SEO for CPTs only?

So far I haven’t received a response. Is that plugin run by a different developer? Do they regularly review the support forum?

Hi,

The support forum for the ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO plugin is handled by another team. If you update to the latest versions of ACF, Yoast SEO, and ACF Content Analysis for Yoast SEO, does this solve the issue? We advise you to check and wait for further feedback from them.

Everything is updated. The problem still exists.

Hopefully I don’t have to wait too much longer. It’s a pretty significant issue that we need to address ASAP. Our site is ready to launch with the exception of this issue.

Further to my original information, something that is important. Because we are using a custom URL structure, we had to write a new plugin that essentially turned a 404 page into a real page. I’m thinking this is likely where the issue is stemming from. I just noticed the page is set to noindex even with all the options turned to index. I’m still not sure why it would be showing the Meta Title as the latest blog post though.

Any thoughts?
