The website is not found on google unless i type in the exact url to which it shows ‘visit event website’. Its been made by a third party company and they just made me the administrator today. Please help me out.

It can take Google anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to index new sites.

To keep track of that, add the site to Google’s Webmaster Tools: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

Go to Google Webmaster Tools. Verify your ownership and then submit your sitemap for crawling: /sitemap_index.xml

Make sure in Settings // Reading to not have marked the Discourage search engines from indexing this site
