    Hi!

I installed the WordPress.com stats plugin. The plugin is working and i can see the stats when I login directly into wordpress.com.

But I cannot login from my own wp-dashboard.

It asks for user/password and when I exactly type the user/password-combo that I use to directly login at wordpress.com it just clears the loginform and nothing more happens. No error regarding wrong user/password.

    Any ideas?

    TIA

    Stefan

  • same thing here 🙁

Same here. I installed Stats on Friday, and it worked a couple of days, and now I just get that login loop. Bummer!

I was getting the login loop. For me, the problem was that I had disabled third party cookies in Firefox 3, using the network.cookie.cookieBehavior advanced setting (hidden behind about:config).

I’m now experimenting with CookieSafe as an alternative to the brute-force blocking of third party cookies.

    Hi Adrian,

you are right! I never thought of FF as a reason for this problem!?

    Thanks

    Stefan

WOW! what a weird thing, I would have never found this solution by myself 🙂
