Hi,

I’m using this plugin to send a birthday notification at 6am. Birtdays are configured as entrys for my blog, and i have programmed every entry to be published at 6am.
However, sometimes the notifications are not sent at that time, they’re sent at the same time any user log into my page the first time of the day.
For example, this last time, the emails were send at 10:40am, the same time the admin logged in, but the entry was programmed to be published at 6am.
Also, for some reason, the entry says that it was published 8 hours ago (being 11am, 8 hours would be 3am, which is wrong).
I have the time and date propperly configured at my wordpress settings (-3GTM, i’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina).

Thanks for your message.

This sounds like standard WordPress behaviour with regards to how it manages cron jobs.

I think you can use a 3rd party cron service however to ensure that this works more consistently. I’ve heard of people using something like https://www.easycron.com although i’ve never used it myself.
