Hello there,
In your site admin (/wp-admin), visit Appearance > Widgets. Doesn’t the “Sidebar” box exist in there?
Regards,
Kharis
Hi Kharis
I have installed and created my website using Sydney Theme the URL is
http://www.dentistreebangalore.com
I have added a widget below the header slider by using custom HTMLwith the help of elementor free tool
<practo:abs_widget widget=”11f7ca91a5b2fc48″></practo:abs_widget><script src=”https://www.practo.com/bundles/practopractoapp/js/abs_widget_helper.js”></script>
The Practo widget is showing on the page while I am on the admin mode in wordpress; however as soon as I logout from wordpress the widget goes Away. I am attaching both the screenshots for your reference. Any help would be much appreciated
I have sent you the screeshots over email.
Thanks

Hi Kharis
Yes its there but no matter what I do nothing appears on the page. I can drag a photo widget, calendar or any other widget to the SIDEBAR but it will not appear on the page.
@danishsq,
Does this issue also happen with the default WordPress theme? Not sure if it’s theme-specific issue.
@thekaratekid,
In the Page Attributes option, check if the default template is active.

Kharis
Yes done that and also tried full page/front page etc etc
Works on any other Theme apart from Sydney…..

Hello there,
Note that, for pages, the sidebar is only visible when default template is active, and there’s at least one widget. To check whether you’ve put a widget in there, please share a link to one of your posts.

Kharis
Ive already added a widget to sidebar and have already selected default template and it still does not show. When I go to appearance and widgets it says this:-
Your theme has 1 other widget area, but this particular page doesn’t display it.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customise to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.
It also lists only my 4 footers,no side bar
Hello there,
With default page template enabled, I got this in the customizer
It looks like we got something different.
Please check page.php and sidebar.php files. Do they look like these?
