error 404

    hello,

    My WP config:
    – Version : 2.7
    – Theme : sliding door modified
    – Plugins : Contact form 7, statcounter, random image, sensitive tag cloud, shutter reloaded, viper’s video
    – web host : infomaniak
    – url : http://www.shams.fr

    I’ve got some trouble on my home page. whatever the settings I choose (page, or recent posts…) my home page is redirected to the 404 theme page…

    Can you help me?!

    what have you done? please be more descriptive

    Hi! thank you for your answer!.

    That’s right, my home page is “http://www.shams.fr/?page_id=8”
    But as you can see, when you just go to “http://www.shams.fr/” it produces a 404 error…

    I use sliding door theme, and in one of its php file, I change a line to link my home picture with my home page and it works well. I don’t think it’s related to my 404 error, because when I use another theme, I still have my problem…

    Still have my problem here…

    And no solutions, so maybe I will reinstall wordpress using the new function button in the dashboard. Is this function will erase all my post, theme, plugin, preferences … ?
