Tags are being published as posts.

    Hi everyone. I’ve just gone back to my blog after about a year. For some reason, whenever I publish a post that uses new tags, those tags will be published as posts (as well as becoming tags). I can’t figure out a way to stop it happening, but it’s quite annoying as I have posts scheduled and can’t always go and delete the post-tags before anybody notices. Has anybody else had this problem, and if you fixed it please let me know how! Thanks in advance.

    Does you theme use Visual Composer version 5.4.2 or older? If that’s the case, it could be the incompatibility issue with WP4.9

    Try switching to WP default theme (like TwentySeventeen) and see if the post-tag problem is gone. This is to rule out if something bundled with your theme is causing it.
