• I have recently launched my first blog site, what I have noticed is that viewers can have the same access to my admin area as I have.
    That is ..login..logout..admin.
how can I hide these headings. I am somewhat concerned about the possibilities.
Thanks for any help on this matter.

  • Hi there, when you say viewers, are you talking about registered members, if so what role have you given them, also a link to your site would be very helpful.

Thanks for your reply, I just happen to enter the URL just as an ordinary visitor would (not members) I then clicked on the admin and also the login , this immediately took me to the control area where I basically could carry out whatever changes I desire to the site.
I check another blog site clicked on their ..login. it took me to the WP login password panel. (mine does not.
    thanks,

Hi again, how do you log in then, and what is the url.

kuberzee, if you’re already logged into your blog as admin, it will auto-log you in again until your cookie expires. That’s okay. Log out, flush your cookies, and then try that.
