Changing URL structure

    Hi,

    I’m about to change the URL structure of my posts which currently include the year. I’m changing it so the year won’t show anymore.
    I understand how to make the URL structure change in my settings. My question is, once I make the change, will the URL structure of my old published posts change as well? Or would they stay the same and I would redirect them to the new format?

    ALL content, old and new, will change to the new URL structure.

    You may want to setup redirects so that links to your posts from search engines and other websites do not encounter a 404 error. Here is a short article on changing WordPress URL’s and setting up redirects: https://yoast.com/change-wordpress-permalink-structure/
