Hi thanks for reaching WCMp Support!!
Sorry to hear that you have faced this issue. Please make sure you are using the updated version of WC Marketplace (2.7.8), because in this version we have resolved the issue with category search.
If you are facing the issue with this version also please make sure that the vendor only follow this method, while adding a brand new product: https://www.useloom.com/share/4374f759e3f944dbaa555811700eca43
Please don’t use this method for a new product: https://www.useloom.com/share/e34488dc13b24117bb83e2a144601d94, this should only be used while selling the same product that is already being sold by some other ).
If the vendors have used this method for a new product, in that case, the products won’t be getting displayed at the shop page, as from our recent version (2.7.6 ), we are treating all of the duplicate copy as a single product and only displaying those products by group.
Hence, if there is already a product named “test product A” and the vendor has added a product by writing the same exciting product name “test product A” ( i.e. Single Product Multiple Vendor process ) but after loading the product description, if the vendor has changed the product name to “test product B”, it will consider as same product that is being sold by different vendor.
Because in our database the product “test product B” is linked to the “test product A” already. Hence, under the category and shop page, it will only display a single product. Now, if the vendor has copied the “test product A” of a category and renamed to “test product B” and assigned them to another category, in that case, the”test product B” won’t be displayed under the new category.
So, please make sure that the products are not copied to create a new product.
Please follow this method https://www.useloom.com/share/4374f759e3f944dbaa555811700eca43 and check the category section again.
If you are still facing this issue, please do let us know so that we can assist you accordingly.
