New WordPress site, can’t change homepage?

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up a new website (pagesandscreens.org), and have been working on setting things up through the WordPress dashboard. The site currently seems to have some default text on it and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it.

I’ve looked around on the support pages and attempted the different ways suggested for changing the homepage, but the site is still stuck with some kind of default text. Does this have something to do with the web hosting company?

The only thing that shows up on the homepage is:

Tyler’s Heading

Tyler’s paragraph.

Site established… Awaiting content

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
