I’ve been using the polylang plugin for a while and must say I am more than happy with almost everything. However, earlier this week I stumbled in an error which I was not able to solve (already checked documentation and other posts).
For some reason the comments box is invisible for one language – it works perfectly fine with the default language. I also checked the string translations (no missing translation) and Discussion-settings of both translations (of the post) and the comments are allowed on both. So I went one with testing and manually added a comment to the post within the edit section, and now it displays only the comment, but adding more comments is disabled:“Comments are closed.” Has anyone had a similar issue and knows how to solve it? Check these examples:
