Nextgen–installation issues

I know I am doing something very wrong, but, not sure what it is. Do I need to code a file to point the slideshow to my sidebar widget? If so, which one? It is just a loading icon spinning. I have looked at all the help files and I am just missing something(obviously)

I have a set of images to use uploaded to wp-content/gallery
