I’m not sure what’s causing the issue but whenever I use Elementor now everything works like normal but as soon as I edit an element like a textbox or whatever the changes don’t show up. If I save it they will take effect but I can’t see the changes happening live. Sometimes it will work randomly on a couple elements but not very often. I noticed that Elementor is only saying wordpress has 40mb of memory usage.. which is wrong, it had 256mb. Don’t know what that’s about.

I’m using the latest versions of the plugin and GeneratePress theme.

  • Can you try to deactivate all plugins except Elementor? Maybe it is a conflict. Also update Elementor to the latest version

@silentfox Were you able to solve this? I’m also having this problem and been having it for months know, both in different hosting providers and my own local development setups. With the default themes or generatepress. On initial install all works fine, even without any type of plugin, or custom theme, eventually elementor preview stops showing changes and I’ve never been able to keep track of what exactly does it. It just stops working. If I update the site then the push works and the site updates fine, but, no preview, and it is almost always on the Home page.

The thing I notice in the url is this,
On pages that work, this is what the parameter part of the preview url looks like
    ?preview_nonce=23f96df82a&preview=true
But, on the home page, the preview url looks like
    ?preview_nonce=e220367f4d
It initially has the &preview=true parameter, but then it redirects to the url without the preview=true. There are no redirector plugins installed or anything.
