    I am not sure what to cal what I am asking or if this has been asked so I will try to explain what I am looking for and hopefully some one can make heads or tails.
    I have seen sites where they will have a very long post, instead of having the long post take up a large amount of the screen you can have a link that says
    “read more” or what ever and then the rest of the post will open up. Is there a plug in for this or is it just some coding you have to setup?

    You don’t need a plugin, there is a button above the text area where you write your posts in the admin panel – it’s called “more”. Click on that one where you want to break your text and it will insert the following:
    < !--more-- > (without space! of course)

    Well color me stupid I even read the tags meaing and did not see that one? Will have to clean my glasses.

    Oh no it is there, thats why I feel stupid and blind for not seeing it until you mentioned where it was. If it had I would be trying to pull it off right now 😉
