Not getting signup confirmation email

    Subscribers are not getting the signup confirmation email where they need to follow the link to be added to a list. I can see the users in the back end as unconfirmed but the confirmation email is not being sent

    Hi @ebarcena,

    I just tested this plugin in my hosting and it’s sending email soon as someone subscribe to it. There could be many reason besides this plugin why your subscriber not getting mail after subscribing ->

    1 . Make sure you have latest version of this plugin installed. We had confirmation mail not sending problem in its previous version. But latest version is tested working.

    2 . May be, your hosting server mail function not working properly. You can test this by manually sending a newsletter to your email from mailpoet Emails section in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=mailpoet-newsletters.

    Hello,

    Yeah the latest version is installed and mailpoet has been sending emails just fine so not sure what the problem is.

    Also … do the name and email fields need to be named your-name and your-email? Can I name them differently?
