• I have used a custom folder for image uploads, and can’t seem to get my eShop thumbnails to work properly. I believe they are using the default upload path, not the custom path I’ve set, so the thumbnail versions aren’t displaying properly with the subpages shortcode.

I have specified the full path in the WordPress Miscellaneous section.

Here’s the page I’m trying to figure out: http://uncommondepth.com/news/?page_id=146

    Any help appreciated.

I’ve just uploaded this plugin and it looks like (with the exception of this little glitch) it might work beautifully for me.

I can’t currently replicate this issue.

What path did you set things up to use?

    I used …/news/images

Another potential problem is that I’ll be using my Flickr account for some of the product images; and also taking some from my NextGen gallery pages. I’m going to try both of these options today and see what happens to the eShop thumbnails.

Update: When I use an image from my NextGen gallery the image displays fine on the Product page, however there are no thumbnails for the Department page. Same thing happens for images from Flickr.

On the new page when you fill out the product information – at the bottom of the page is a link for “choose listing image”. It says ‘current image’ > no image available. Under Choose Image there are no options and it again says “No Images found”.

Is it possible to specify your own thumbnails or is there anything else I can do besides upload each image to the default upload location? Many of my product images are already uploaded to my server for the gallery pages so I don’t want to have multiple uploads of the same image.

eShop can only list images against a page/post ‘product’ if the image was uploaded via the add media for that page/post.

If you are using images from elsewhere eShop won’t be able to find them. So if you use another plugin to handle images then eShop won’t be able to use them.

I have no plans to allow images to be used from elsewhere. Sorry.
