database files

    I have been doing manual backups of my site via ftp, but I just learned that this backs up website files only and not database files. Is there any way to include database files in my ftp backups or do I need to install a plugin that will cover everything? I really do not want to pay for a plugin if I can do it for free. I don’t have a problem running a manual backup every night.

    @bhagens1, if you’re comfortable to perform manual backups each time, then there’s not problem with Free version. You can use BackupGuard Free to create full website backups (files + database).
