• Hi all. I’m struggling to make the home screen and the individual tabs’ layout and content the same. If I go to my homepage and just scroll down, my “Clients” and “Testimonials” looks great, but then when I go to the tab on the top of my homepage and go to those sections by clicking, what I get is completely different. What am I doing wrong? Thanks so much for your help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello there,

If you wish to create custom pages for clients and testimonials, ensure their link don’t read yoursite.com/clients and yoursite.com/testimonials. Because they’re preserved to custom post types archives, which always be applied to any site automatically by WordPress system when custom post types found. Our demo site has this as well http://demo.athemes.com/sydney/testimonials/.

For the solution of this situation, your pages must have different link, for example yoursite.com/our-clients or yoursite.com/clients-testimonials.

    Kharis,

Thanks so much for your advice. I think there’s an additional step I must perform, but I can’t figure out what. I went to Pages – All Pages – Testimonials and then changed the name of the link like you suggested to my website’s name and then “/clients-testimonials”. This just made the entire page disappear.

    Hello there,

Try flushing your site’s permalink structure by going to Settings > Permalinks; and just hit the save button.

If this procedure doesn’t help, try creating a new page.

    Regards,
    Kharis
