Stuck on “Generate” & Cancel doesnt do snything

    Hello,

    My simply static plugin is stuck in generate mode (apparently) with the spinning wheel next to the cancel button. The cancel button doesnt do anything and I’ve un-installed/reinstalled Simply Static, and rebooted my server. I’m not sure what else I can do to get it working again. After re-installation, the Generate page looks like it’s still generating even without actually telling it too – something wrong the the database? or some files need to be deleted perhaps?
    Please help!

    Hi,

    UPDATE: My bad. I had updated my http basic authentication password but did not update it in the Simply Static settings. All good now. Sorry for the false alarm. This plugin rocks!

    Same thing happened to me after using Simply Static with no problem for weeks. Same symptoms. I tried killing all PHP processes on my server but still spinning when I go to the Simply Static admin page.

    I turned on logging and then tried to cancel; here’s the resulting log:

    [2017-11-23 17:18:30] [class-ss-plugin.php:235] Received request to cancel static archive generation
    [2017-11-23 17:18:30] [class-ss-archive-creation-job.php:183] Cancelling job; job is not done
    [2017-11-23 17:18:30] [class-ss-archive-creation-job.php:194] The queue isn’t empty; overwriting current task with a cancel task

    Please advise.
