As that plugin hasn’t been updated for 7 months, I have to ask: Have you edited any code? If not, then uh-oh.

Start by downloading a fresh copy of the plugin from https://wordpress.org/plugins/team-rosters/. Unzip it on your PC. Using FTP or your hosting control panel, delete wp-content/plugins/team-rosters and upload the clean copy you just downloaded.

Now, on to the uh-oh. Install the plugin WordFence. Go to the scan options and enable the options that scan plugins, wordpress, and themes against those in the repository and scan your site.

    Hi,

I have not edited any code, this happened when I updated some plugins, this plugin could have updated in that as I havn’t done updates in a while.

I can’t get on the editing part of the website.
When I go to: http://www.kentcrusaders.co.uk/wp-admin/post.php it says ‘parse error…..’.

I am sorry I am not very good with this stuff. I don’t even need the plugin anymore so I could delete it, however like I said I can’t get on to any part of the editing part of the website.

    Thanks

you need to update your plugin for at least every 5 months, it will always help you to keep your website and its contents updated and safe.

Using your hosting control panel, delete the directory wp-content/plugins/team-rosters. It will remove that plugin.

You should keep your site updated. Do not wait 5 months, as @bingisilas suggests. If an update is available, update.

I don’t think I can access the control panel that’s the problem.

When I put the suggested above it comes up with:

    Index of /wp-content/plugins/team-rosters

    Parent Directory
    css/
    images/
    includes/
    js/
    mstw-team-rosters.php
    readme.txt
    theme-templates/

Sorry I am new to all this.

Delete that directory, whether via FTP or your HOSTING control panel, not the WP control panel (i.e., “the dashboard”). If you cannot do that, please contact your host for assistance.
