WP staff sent me here, since this isn’t their plug-in.

I just installed it, but it has created some odd effects. For example, on the Image Details control there are no longer boxes to set margins around the image.

    Any idea what’s up?

More broadly, this great widget could get a lot of users on WP.com, so understanding its side-affects is important.

Are you having issues on the backend (admin page) or frontend?

    I’m unsure what that means.

When I am creating a post, I insert an image. Then I click on it to edit it — bringing up the Image Details page. Before installing Ad Inserter, there were boxes to input margins around the image: top, bottom, left, right. They no longer appear on the Details page.

The only thing Ad Inserter adds to the post editor is Individual Exceptions meta box (below the editor window).

Can please try to disable Ad Inserter to be sure the problem has gone?

Are you maybe using Advanced Image Styles plugin?
    If yes, is it enabled?

You are right. I disabled it, and the margin boxes do not reappear. Thank you for suggestion.

If you are using Advanced Image Styles plugin make sure it is enabled.

The WP rep. also sees the problem. I’m told that they will check and report back to me.

Thank you for your fast response on this. I hope to get more clicks on Amazon ads with this.

    Igor,

WP.com staff confirmed that this feature disappears when using plug-ins. I don’t know if they meant in general, of AdInserter specifically.

I look forward to seeing the results. Last month — before using AdInserter — I made $40 from Amazon Associates and only $27 from WordAds. And that’s with WordAds annoying autoplay videos, which make my website more difficult to read.

My guess is that this is largely because I can make the Amazon ads specifically relevant to the website’s content, and even that of individual posts.
