Address Fields always required

    The address field is not required in Mailchimp, however is required in Mailchimp for WordPress, meaning that if I add any address field, all are marked with a red asterisk meaning they are now required. If any address field (such as country) is added to the page, all the address fields become “required.” Is there a way to allow for optional or toggle-able address fields?

    Hi,

    We decided to do it this way because MailChimp will only accept the address if all fields are filled, not if for example you only fill the city.

    We suggest to use normal text fields instead.

    For reference, are there any particular benefits to using an Address field in mailchimp over a collection of text fields?

    Not if you ask me. Just downsides.
