Just installed… mobile display problems

Just installed wordpress/woocommerce/storefront to a site.

Added a header and a few items but on mobile ( tried Chrome and some other browser ) the header is stretched beyond the screen and when you click on the menu it expands over the top of the header but then repeats the header 3 times. I’ve changed the css to stop it repreating the header but I’m disappointed. Surely it should display fine on Chrome on mobiles? What do I need to change in the css? I’ve actually installed this wp-touch plugin in hope that will be solution but I prefer not to use any other plugins.

I must say I am very impressed with woocommerce and wordpress but this issue seems strange seeing how good everything else seems.
