Where to put custom toggle

    Hi, i want to use a custom toggle menu so that i can place it underneath the site branding of my homepage. Shiftnav provides code for html, shortcode and php, but i dont know which template this needs to go into. Can someone advise? I’m not really a developer.

    Hi webatar1,

    It’s going to depend entirely on the theme, so there’s no way to give an exact answer here. But the place to start looking is in the theme’s header.php. The branding markup might be in there, or it might be in another template that is included from the header.php.

    You might want to just do a global search on the theme files to search for specific markers (like a logo class or something like that).

    (In a PHP file you would use either the PHP or HTML – I’d opt for the HTML).
