Feed not showing, error instead

    Hi,

    We have your plugin working for a few days but suddenly there no images, only the message:

    Error: User ID 6043262769 does not exist, is invalid, or is private
    This error is only visible to WordPress admins
    Please double check the Instagram User ID that you are using and ensure that it is valid and not from a private account. To find your User ID simply enter your Instagram user name into this tool.

    You can see at the bottom of homepage.

    I tried all I can image. And of course, revoke app access and grant again.

    I have changed the sb_instagram_at field in plugin system info below.

    Can you help me please?

    Hey Marc,

    It looks like you also submitted a ticket on our website. It looks like your user id is not currently showing as being from an active Instagram account as the message from Instagram’s API.

    As Smash Balloon support said via email:

    The problem would be that whatever widget you’re using (must be coming from your theme options?) is overriding the user id that you have set in the Instagram Feed settings page. The IDs are very similar but not quite the same.

    Was the other ID from an old account that you removed at some point? Either way, you should be fine as long as you use the “good ID”

    The answer is yes. The problem is now solved.
