@advisio In order to make your existing images compatible with the theme display and make them show up uniformly, please install and activate the Regenerate Thumbnails https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ plugin. Then go to Tools > Regen. Thumbnails and let the process complete. This will resize all images to match the ideal sizes required by the theme.
I did that. It didn’t work. That’s why I posted. I will try again though.
All the best

Tried it again. Didn’t work – see http://businessthinkcornwall.co.uk/suz/ even though the plugin said all images had been resized.
I really like your theme by the way. Just want to iron out this issue and it will be perfect.
Hi @advisio,
I believe your images have different proportions so they are resized to different sizes. The recommended size for images in Kale is 1200x800px. I think the best way would be to crop them. Here are some articles about cropping in WordPress editor: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-crop-rotate-scale-and-flip-images-in-wordpress/ and https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/crop-image-wordpress/
Hope that helps.

Yes they are all different image sizes. I’m used to themes taking the featured image and auto cropping for the widget display, rather than cropping the actual image. But that can work too. Just a bit more effort. With portrait images its almost impossible to do 1200 x 500 as crops too much. Thanks for you help. I appreciate it.
Hi, I’m using theme Kale,
is it possible to change the featured image size?
I’ve tried the plugin Simple Image Sizes, as suggested by the theme assistance, but it doesn’t work.
Featured images are way too big and I like them a bit smaller.
Thanks for helping
Chiara
@chiaraparodi78 The default theme thumbnail size is what you see on our demo. However, if you wish to change it for your website, we recommend this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Please install and activate it and then change the thumbnail size to what you prefer.
After doing that, I do suggest regenerating all thumbnails so that they all show up uniformly across the website.
If the problem persists, we’ll need to see the website to see what may be going on here.
