Hi – love this plugin, thank you for all your hard work on it.

I have a bit of an issue with my main client who handle their email via an in house mail server, the the mail/web parts of the domain are split between different locations.

Long story short, they have always had problems receiving email from their websites unless the Return-Path is specified as an address which is unrelated to their domains.

Is there any way to set the Return-Path for the emails they receive from Caldera Forms please? I couldn’t find a setting, but perhaps there is a hook?

    Thanks!

    Hi Moogie17,

Thanks for using Caldera Forms, it means a lot to us. 🙂 I’m glad you’re loving it, and hope that you’ll take the time to leave us a 5 star review?: https://wordpress.org/plugins/caldera-forms/#reviews

As for specifying the return path, we call that the reply-to email address in our Mailer settings. The full guide to Mailer settings is here, for your reference: https://calderaforms.com/doc/setting-caldera-forms-email-notification/

Finally, have you taken a look at Caldera Forms Pro? It might be a good solution for your client, since one of its main features is enhanced email delivery that takes care of these kinds of email handling issues. You can see more information at calderaforms.com/pro, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask them via our website at calderaforms.com/contact and I or someone from our team will be happy to answer your and your clients’ questions.

    Thanks!
