Prevent automatic line breaks using text editor

    Hello, I am having an issue with the included text editor.

    I have added mailchip signup code, which is supposed to be displayed ‘inline’, meaning the email input form and submit button should be side-by-side.

    When I add my code (content tab / text editor), and click “Save all changes”, the plugin refreshes to display visual editor, and additional line break is added which displays as a paragraph tag on the front end.

    How can I get around this? I am running 5.0.14

    Interesting to note: I have 5.0.10 installed on another site, and the editor does not refresh to “visual” once the save button is clicked.

    Hi,

    The wordpress editor is notorious for adding in unwanted code. Look under the advanced tab in the plugin and you can enter custom html that appends the page or completely replace it.
