I had a registration form with a custom field for users “Phone number” whose slug/id/name is “phnum” I used this field in registration form like this,
    [reg-phnum class=”form-control login-field” id=”reg-phone” required]

and it was working, but now it is not, is show exact code without converting it to text-field.

Are you using the Lite plugin or the premium version?

Custom field is only supported in ProfilePress Pro.

Yea. So you need the PRO for custom fields.
