hi thank you much for this fantastic plugin. Its been working like a charm until now.

A single page does not seem to like using the plugin.

The following pages are links to custom post types

    /products/preparation-is-the-key-sadly.html
However, if I change this to:
    /products/preparation-is-the-key-sadly.htm

The page suddenly breaks other pages using .html work just fine.

thank you much for your help.

    Hi @com3rddesign

I have checked the issue and doesn’t found it on my end. I have created the post of custom posttype with the same url as mentioned by you and updated it by changing the html to htm and it’s still working fine.

Please check if it only happens to a specific post or for all posts.

    Let me know your findings.

    Thanks,
    Sami

    Hi Sami,
after much looking. I just found the problem. I had 2 articles with the exact same permalinks, created by mistake. Unfortunately, it took me a very long time to find them. This was causing the main issue. Once I changed the permalink to one of the articles the problem fixed itself.

    Thanks again for your help.

As a request, it would be good to check if permalinks already exist? and reject them if they do?

@com3rddesign Thanks for your suggestion. I am adding your suggestion in the Queue list and would provide this functionality in future release.

For now, if you have any kind of issue and want to check the existing permalink so, you can check that from the “PostTypes Permalinks” and “Taxonomy Permalinks” Pages. URL looks like this:
    http://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=permalinks-customizer-post-permalinks
    http://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=permalinks-customizer-taxonomy-permalinks

Thanks for using this plugin and providing feedback.

    Regards,
    Sami
